🫎 Audi E Tron 12V Battery Location

So I was in a group chat of E-tron owners and one guy were saying the E-tron will automatically convert the 396V high voltage and recharge the 12V battery, either when the car is running, or stationary (ignition swithed off and parked). E-tron preheating problem. In the morning the car is on the charger. Departure timer set to 7AM - to use cheap electricity. Before I leave the house - Ill start immediate preheating from Audi app. Problem is that it uses the battery to preheat the car when in charger and wastes driving range. The visit to the dealer included, as well as the charging issue, the installation of Audi's Universal Traffic Recorder (their front/rear dashcam hardware). Is the Audi e-tron worth it? Is the Audi e-tron fast? How long does a charge last and how much does it cost to charge an e-tron? All these questions and more hello, i have a 2017 a3 e-tron, and when i brought it in for the 20k service, they upgraded the charging s/w. i was getting about 24-26 miles per charge when full, now it only goes to 20-22 miles. previously i was going from sea level to work about 15 miles and engine would just kick on (so would use the full battery basically, 8.8kW). on the way home, downhill, i would have 8 or 9 miles left The Audi Etron, if functioning properly, has NO phantom drain on the main battery, so the main battery should be fine if you leave the car in its deepest state of sleep. The 12V battery (used to run the electronics in the car) has given a few people problems with draining (for some unknown reasons) and required recharging after long storage. Wytd.
